This week we're taking a look at the world's most valuable brands, The top 100 brands from the fiscal year 2019


Facebook Valued at 70.3 Billion Dollars 

   The Facebook value fell 21 since last year's list published the biggest fall of any company on the list while the social networking company still finished in the top five they continue to face criticism over election interference and misinformation concerns on the platform in July it was reported that Facebook was developing a competitor to TikTok amid questions about TikTok data security and its connection to the Chinese government.


Amazon Valued at 135.4 Billion Dollars 

   Amazon saw 40 growth since last year's list published the third-largest jump among the brands on our list in fact in 2020 amazon's market cap has grown by 570 billion dollars and their stock has grown more than 60 partially driven by increased demand due to the coronavirus pandemic.


Microsoft Valued at 162.9 Billion Dollars 

   Microsoft returns to the list at number three and their value jumped by 30 since last year's list was published in addition to gains in value Microsoft also topped the Forbes just 100 in 2020. as an employer, they've increased their subsidized backup child care to 150 hours for employees and along with their employee matching program donated 163 million dollars to nonprofits in 2018. 



Google Valued at 207.5 Billion Dollars in Early 2020 

   Google parent company alphabet hit a market cap of one trillion dollars in July alphabet's CEO Sundar Pichai along with other tech leaders was called to testify in front of congress in regards to anti-trust and bias concerns the same week the European Union opened an anti-trust investigation into google's 2.1 billion bid for Fitbit.


Apple Valued at 241.2 Billion Dollars 

   Apple tops the most valuable brands list for the 10th year in a row with a 17 jump in their value since last year's list was published in July a number of states opened an investigation into apple for allegedly slowing down older iPhones on purpose the investigation came the same week apple CEO Tim cook was called to testify in front of congress to talk about allegedly anti-competitive practices regarding its app store you.
